Timber UV protection

Timber UV protection is used to durably protect the appearance of timber materials used outdoors, thus considerably reducing maintenance and care cycles.

There are two modes of action available depending on how the protection is applied: either placed in the timber where it prevents UV radiation from reacting with one of the timber’s components (lignin); or placed on the surface of timber elements where it reduces the effect of UVs on the timber to slow down surface changes (greying, loss of matter, etc.).

Our UV protection products exist in liquid form.  They are combined with a water repellent property and can also be combined with staining.
